Guest Code of Conduct

Guest Code of Conduct

The team at Hinchliffe Stadium is fully committed to providing a safe, memorable, and fun event day experience for all guests while in attendance at the Stadium.  With this in mind, we have developed a Guest Code of Conduct which ALL guests are expected to follow.  Hinchliffe Stadium, the Paterson Board of Education and the New Jersey Jackals ask guests to assist in fostering this environment by:

  • Not creating a disruption to the progress of the event by their actions
  • Showing their ticket when requested and only sitting in their ticketed seat / assigned section
  • Following instructions from team members regarding stadium operations and emergency procedures
  • Allowing each other to be free to support their team or entertainer while remaining respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons, referees, opposing team fans, players, etc.
  • Refraining from fighting, throwing items or using foul/abusive language or gestures
  • Not displaying indecent messages on clothing
  • Refrain from smoking, vaping and use of smokeless tobacco
  • Consuming alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner

Guests or visitors who choose not to observe the Guest Code of Conduct shall be subject to ejection, permanently barred from the Stadium, or possibly arrest where deemed necessary.

The following items are not permitted to be carried into Hinchliffe Stadium:  Firearms, other weapons, or dangerous materials including pepper spray, laser pointers, glass containers, aerosol cans, permanent markers, construction tools.

Transportation devices, including bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, skateboards, shoes with wheels, strollers that cannot be folded, wagons, hoverboards, scooters, and Segway-type devices

Suitcases, trunks, wheeled duffle bags, carry-on bags, and packages, i.e., any bags, containers, or parcels larger than standard backpacks, purses or messenger bags are prohibited; all containers are subject to search by Stadium personal.

Professional A/V equipment, including selfie sticks, tripods or monopods longer than 12″ fully extended, large commercial video or photo equipment, megaphones, amplified speaker devices, and drones of any size.

To ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone at Hinchliffe Stadium, any other items that our security team or Stadium Operations teams feel can pose a threat to guests and staff will not be permitted entry at their discretion.
